Hakomi is returning to Glasgow in the form of a two day introductory workshop lead by Diarmid Baillie, Certified Hakomi therapist.

Perhaps you are looking to enjoy self exploration, deep nourishment and connection with others. Maybe you are a therapist who wants to sample effective new experiential techniques to use in your work.

Possibly you are even considering training further in the Hakomi Method or perhaps you've been to previous workshops and want to come back for more

If so come and enjoy a taste of this powerful method of self discovery and take home skills and insights you can use in your life and work.

The Hakomi Method is a powerful way of evoking and supporting emotional and psychological healing processes using experiments in mindfulness and loving presence. Hakomi has been refined into a method of unique elegance and artistry, drawing upon the ancient wisdoms of Buddhism and Taoism along with modern influences such as systems theory and body psychotherapies. Developed originally as a form of psychotherapy, the fruit of the method goes well beyond personal change or individual development, and flowers in the cultivation of loving relationships and caring communities.

The workshop will introduce excercises from the training, allowing us to begin to use the method to reveal how we are organised around core beliefs. Hakomi invites the emergence of new possibilities for nourishment and new depths of connection with self, other and world.
